Scope and Delimitation

       The major materials of reconnaissance robot are the following: 4 motors (Foxtech 390kv, 15A, 14 x 5.5 prop), 4 Electronic Speed Control (ESC) (40amp), 4 propellers (14 x 5.5), 2 Lithium-ion Polymer (LiPo) (5500ma/h, 3s), APM Flight controller, servo motors, video transmitter and receiver, transmitter and receiver, lipo alarm, ubec and camera. It is made of aluminum for the arm and body. It is consist of 40 degrees tilting camera to capture video from the area, the copter can rotate 360 degrees, it can move forward, backward, left and right, it has a Global Positioning System (GPS) to track the copter and LCD for the inter face of the pilot. The copter is controlled by 9 channel RF controller with the range of 100 - 300 meters from the prototype, equipped with lipo alarm that serves as warning for the pilot if the battery is low. For the software, the proponents use Mission planner for the program of the quad copter.

       The flight time of aerial reconnaissance robot is 20 -25 minutes only with the range of 100 meters from the controller. The robot can lift its weight of not exceeding 3.3 kilograms.
