Introduction

Aerial Reconnaissance is reconnaissance that is conducted using unmanned aerial vehicles or reconnaissance aircraft. Their roles are to collect imagery intelligence, signals intelligence, measurement and signature intelligence.

In today’s modern age, the technologies has greatly grown and got advanced. It is evident that a majority of the country institutions still do not adapt the high technology. Aerial reconnaissance has grown in importance; it has now encompasses all phases of warning. Visual observation from the air furnishes short-term information and warning. Direct receiving and image-recording infrared equipment at night reconnaissance, high resolution radar in bad weather and conventional photography all contribute to medium and long-term warning by observing tactical preparations or discerning new military capabilities. Now in the modern century UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) or Drone as they call has now have a many variety of uses through the help of our modern day technologies. It can be used as a tool for disaster management and can be a vital tool for gathering information for planning a search and rescue operations.

In this study, the proponents hope to develop an aerial reconnaissance robot that can document the extent of the disaster through images and videos then make these images/videos available to anyone who would want to work toward relief, rehabilitation, damage evaluation, construction and search and rescue on disaster high areas.
